[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This year, Chicago indie band College Transfer Student is stepping up their game! For the past two years, I’ve been in my cave (basement) making new music, completing tracks, revising our marketing strategy, and bringing on a new talent to help complete the lineup. Recently, aspiring DJ Anthony Majewski from Grayslake, IL. has joined the group. Because of his previous background with running a business and music production he adds major value to the College Transfer Student’s music project.
Band Marketing Services
It’s important to mention that we’re going to use several different tactics in order to generate revenue this year. One of which is our digital marketing services for Site Hospital. These services will specifically deal with digital marketing for medical practices around Chicago and it’s North Shore Suburbs. This side business will initially help us generate revenue that will allow us (specifically Anthony) to have more free time to dedicate to the music project. In addition, CTS is considering going into the business of being its own record label. However, this label will be unique in that it will offer digital marketing services for bands and audio production services.
New Music Releases in 2017
New indie music releases are set to be released throughout 2017. These include: Perspicacity EP, Quandary EP, and Purgation EP. College Transfer Student is also in the process of writing our next EPs that will be released in 2018. Essentially, our primary goal this year is to increase traffic to our website and build a fanbase online. Our marketing strategies will include: Facebook Advertising, Social Media Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing, and Content Marketing.
Over the past year I’ve received several emails about our next live performance, and to put it simply we’re building up our fan base, so that we can acquire 150+ attendance at our shows and not piss off promoters and venues due to lack of turnout. That being said, if you have an itch to watch us perform, you’re in luck!
College Transfer Student plans to release live performance videos of both originals and covers, that way you can vibe with us without actually having to go to venue for the night.
With a lot planned for CTS in 2017, you’ll be sure to get a lot of free stuff just following our project or joining our street team. We recommend that you join our mailing list to get updates on new content and much more! If you can’t wait, check out our 2016 indie album, Juxtaposition EP.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
